This project has been a dream of mine for a while. I've been reviewing restaurants and sharing my love of food online for over six years. In that time I noticed the same problem over and over: incredible deals exist all over this city, but finding them requires too much effort. That felt like a solvable problem.
Building The Plate Club from scratch was equal parts exhilarating and humbling — mapping, deals-by-day logic, getting friends to give feedback, iteration after iteration. But seeing it go live and actually work? Made it all worth it.
